Additional Information: 

  1. The primary work location(s) will be at 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751. 
  2. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. 
  3. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 
  4. Position is ONSITE/Hybrid at the location listed above (with some hybrid work – determined by the hiring manager). The program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position. (Onsite Days, Mondays and Tuesdays) and (Remote Days, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays).
  5. The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.
  6. Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Project Scope:  

8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

Roles/Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer 3 will perform developer duties that will include solution design and development, process automations, infrastructure management, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The contractor role is for a senior robotics developer for technologies that may include BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure. The role will be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting bots that will automate various business processes. Hands-on experience with BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure is a must along with the ability to troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses. Knowledge of DOM, HTTP protocol, JavaScript, and HTML is also required. This will be a fast-paced project working in an Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment.  

The Software Engineer 3 Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
