Role: Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer (Playwright, Python & ETL)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in QA Automation, ETL Testing, API Testing, and Cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright, Python, Selenium, SQL, ETL validation, API automation, and AWS, with experience working in Agile environments and building scalable automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Python, Selenium, and PyTest.
- Perform UI, API, ETL, backend, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Validate ETL pipelines, data migration, and data warehouse transformations using SQL.
- Perform REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI.
- Build reusable automation frameworks using BDD/TDD, Page Object Model (POM), and Hybrid Frameworks.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and improve product quality.
- Perform performance testing using JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing using Selenium Grid and Playwright.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide automation solutions for continuous quality improvement.
- Support cloud-native applications running on AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, UAT, and Release activities in Agile projects.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Python/JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python.
- Experience with PyTest, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Serenity BDD.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL Testing, Data Validation, and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Hands-on experience in REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and STLC methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GenAI-based Test Automation and AI-assisted testing.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Glue.
- Experience with Appium Mobile Automation.
- Exposure to Splunk, Grafana, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Salesforce, CMS (AEM/WordPress/Drupal), and MuleSoft integrations.
