Role Overview
Seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect / Lead / Integration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI/BTP, and enterprise integration. The candidate will design, develop, and optimize integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP applications and support middleware migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using SAP BTP / Integration Suite / CPI.
- Develop integrations using SFTP, HTTPS, Mail, AMQP, Advanced Event Mesh, and other adapters.
- Lead API Management, including API design, development, maintenance, and governance.
- Drive migration from legacy middleware platforms to SAP Integration Suite.
- Develop and optimize end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integrations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across production and non-production environments.
- Support SAP S/4HANA transformation and integration initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions.
- Stay current with SAP Integration Suite capabilities and recommend improvements.
Required Technical Skills
- SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite / CPI / HCI
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on SAP integration experience with 10+ years overall integration development preferred.
- Strong experience with SAP CPI adapters, mappings, scripting, and integration flows.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SFTP
- HTTPS
- Mail
- AMQP
- Advanced Event Mesh
- Strong API Management knowledge and experience.
- Experience with SAP PO and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP modules.
- Experience supporting ECC to S/4HANA transformation/migration projects, including greenfield, brownfield, bluefield, or conversion initiatives.
- Strong understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) experience is a key skill.
