Duration: 6-month contract (potential to convert)

Looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong SAS, SQL, reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis experience who enjoys solving complex business problems and working with large enterprise datasets.

Position Overview

Con Edison is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SAS programming and SQL to analyze complex datasets, automate reporting, develop analytical solutions, and provide actionable business insights. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business communication skills.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro, PROC SQL)
• 5+ years of advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization)
• Experience with SAS Data Integration and query tools
• Data visualization using Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Experience building dashboards and KPI reporting
• Strong statistical analysis and data validation skills
• Linux shell scripting and batch processing experience
• SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases
• API development experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree
• Machine Learning or statistical modeling
• Healthcare or Financial Services industry experience
• SAS or SQL certifications
• Experience with SAS Procurement Integrity

Responsibilities
