• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EDI Developer Edifecs (Healthcare) to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of robust Edifecs EDI solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design, create, and implement complex EDI mappings and transaction sets (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 834) to facilitate data exchange with various trading partners.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance standards across all EDI transactions and data processing activities.
• Provide comprehensive support for testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate EDI solutions.
• Oversee and execute EDI system migrations and upgrades, minimizing disruption and ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, quality assurance, and other development teams, to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Actively participate in an Agile development environment, leading discussions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups, fostering a collaborative team spirit.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with both offshore and onshore development teams, ensuring alignment and consistent progress.
• Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to EDI transactions and Edifecs platform functionalities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of EDI processes, documentation, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of extensive experience as an EDI Developer, with a strong focus on the Edifecs platform.
• Demonstrable expertise in Edifecs implementation, configuration, and administration, including Edifecs SpecBuilder, Transaction Manager, and related modules.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with various EDI standards, particularly X12, within the healthcare industry.
• Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application to EDI transactions (e.g., 4010, 5010 standards).
• Proven experience in healthcare integration, understanding the complexities of connecting various healthcare systems and data flows.
• Solid experience with EDI mapping, translation, and validation processes.
• Experience working in an Agile development methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex EDI issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead small teams or projects, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
