Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Security Center Specialist to support our security initiatives within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will primarily focus on ensuring the highest standards of security, compliance, and governance across our Salesforce environments, with a strong emphasis on the Salesforce Security Center Module.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Security Center, along with hands-on experience in managing security policies, controls, risk assessments, and audits within the Salesforce platform. This individual will work closely with the IT, Security, and Development teams to ensure best practices in securing data and applications in Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and implement security configurations and policies using Salesforce Security Center to safeguard the organization’s Salesforce environment.
· Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits on Salesforce instances to ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
· Collaborate with the Salesforce Admin, Developer, and IT teams to ensure secure deployment of Salesforce applications.
· Monitor and report on security alerts, identify potential vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks within the Salesforce ecosystem.
· Work with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices for user access management, data protection, and privacy compliance.
· Provide guidance on the management of sensitive customer data, ensuring it is securely handled according to regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
· Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce security features, updates, and industry trends, ensuring the Salesforce instance is aligned with the latest security protocols.
· Support incident response efforts and resolve security-related issues in collaboration with the security and IT teams.
· Conduct end-user training and awareness programs on security best practices within Salesforce.
Required Skills Experience & Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Security Center.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce security features such as permission sets, user roles, profiles, sharing rules, and data encryption.
· Experience in configuring and managing security settings in Salesforce environments (Classic, Lightning, and Salesforce1).
· Solid understanding of security compliance frameworks, including but not limited to GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA.
Technical Skills:
· Expertise in using Salesforce tools like Security Health Check, Field-Level Security, and Shield Encryption.
· Familiarity with Salesforce Security Center’s Security Review, Risk Assessment, and Audit Log features.
· Strong knowledge of Salesforce’s Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity Management systems.
· Understanding of the integration of security tools with Salesforce APIs and third-party tools for enhanced monitoring and alerting.
Certifications:
· Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Security Professional preferred.
· Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or similar is a plus.
