Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst with strong experience in cloud security and a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing cloud environments, monitoring security posture, ensuring compliance, and supporting security initiatives while working closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams in a P&C insurance environment.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with cloud security services, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM solutions, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Experience implementing and monitoring cloud security controls.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and CI/CD security practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Essential Domain Experience
- Strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
- Understanding of insurance business processes, including:
- Policy Administration
- Underwriting
- Claims Management
- Billing and Payments
- Regulatory and Compliance requirements
- Experience supporting security initiatives within an insurance organization is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the organization's cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Perform cloud security assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Configure and monitor cloud-native security services and security tools.
- Investigate and respond to cloud security incidents and recommend remediation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to implement secure cloud architectures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, industry standards, and insurance regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security reviews for cloud deployments and recommend improvements.
- Support identity and access management, privileged access controls, and data protection initiatives.
- Develop security documentation, reports, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand security requirements in support of Property & Casualty insurance applications.
