Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Coupa Functional Lead to drive the implementation, administration, optimization, and support of Coupa and related enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will act as the functional SME for procurement and financial systems, partnering with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional administration, configuration, and optimization of Coupa and related enterprise applications.
- Serve as the primary functional expert for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), procurement, expense management, and financial operations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Manage integrations between Coupa and enterprise applications including NetSuite, Concur, and Celigo.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage escalations.
- Develop process documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications.
- Strong functional expertise in Coupa including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), procurement, supplier management, invoicing, and expense processes.
- Experience with NetSuite, Concur, and Celigo integrations and administration.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, UAT, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of financial operations, accounting processes, and procurement workflows.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting regulated environments including GxP and SOX compliance.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharma, Medical Devices, or Healthcare industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Experience managing enterprise application roadmaps and system enhancements.
- Understanding of change management, business process optimization, and KPI tracking.
- Exposure to DocuSign and other business SaaS applications.
- Experience with workflow automation, integrations, and scripting.
- Prior experience serving as a functional lead or application owner for enterprise financial systems.
