Job Title: SAP S4 HANA Data Migration & Cutover Lead
Duration: 6+ Months

JD : • Plan and manage data migration activities from legacy systems to the new SAP system,
ensuring timelines and scope are met.
• Hands-on experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data between legacy
systems and SAP (or other ERP), including use of tools like SAP Data Services, or similar.
• Ability to design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and balancing checks (e.g., GL
balances, open items, master data counts) to ensure accuracy and completeness of
migrated data.
• Technical understanding of end-to-end cutover processes (sequence of loads,
dependencies, system freeze, interface switches, batch jobs) and experience running mock
cutovers and go-live weekends.
• Prepare and maintain the cutover plan, including detailed task lists, dependencies, and
ownership for go-live.
• Coordinate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) with technical teams and
business owners.
• Validate data quality through checks, reconciliations, and sample testing before and after data loads.
• Work closely with business users to confirm data requirements, cutover readiness, and sign-off on migrated data.
• Lead and support mock cutovers, documenting issues, timings, and improvements for the final go-live.
• Manage cutover weekend activities, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating status to stakeholders.
• Create and update documentation (procedures, templates, run books, and lessons learned) for data migration and cutover processes.

• Ability to speak business language and translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Expert level knowledge of SAP data elements (both master and transactional), data structures, industry leading data migration tools, and approaches and understanding of integration amongst various modules

• Candidate will be responsible for leading the design, build, testing and deployment of
changed or new business processes enabled by the SAP S/4 solutions
• Lead business workshops with key stakeholders and drive results in line with the project plan
• Provide business process solutions to meet clients’ business priorities and requirements
within the context of industry leading practices
• Provide contribution in project planning and execution according to objectives,
specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Develop implementation schedules, system implementation planning, and execution.
• Ensure project success criteria are met
• Builds strong relationships with IT/business peers and management to best meet company
goals and objectives
• Responsible for assisting on defining, designing, governing and delivering solution to meet
the client requirement working closely with the client and the other business process leads
• Provide accurate estimates, timeline and ability to self-direct and mentor/manage teams and
client.
• Lead business workshops with key stakeholders and derive outcomes.
• Mentor junior team members and be hands-on if required
• Leverage and build assets/accelerators and thought leadership
• Provide solutions and model solutions based on client’s needs, priorities, and industry
leading practices
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Global ERP Implementation experience working with multi-national companies in multi-
cultural environments is a plus
• Knowledge of the new SAP best practices a definite plus
• Ability to leverage and build assets/accelerators and deliver thought leadership publications
