Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise-level AI/ML engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders. This role requires hands-on expertise in AI agent architecture, RAG solutions, vector stores, and secure enterprise integrations. Experience within the Banking/Financial Services sector is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end architecture for AI agents across enterprise platforms.
  • Define integration points with authentication, entitlements, and existing enterprise systems.
  • Lead the implementation of a centralized Vector Store and content ingestion pipeline.
  • Ensure all AI systems comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement embedding generation, vector similarity search, and retrieval workflows.
  • Optimize AI models for high performance (response time < 30 seconds, accuracy > 90%).
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to build explainability and audit-friendly solutions.
  • Develop ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Build scalable Vector Store solutions with metadata-driven and entitlement-aware retrieval.
  • Integrate AI systems with content platforms such as AEM, SharePoint, and Content Cloud.
  • Ensure robust audit logging, encryption, and data protection standards.
  • Develop automated and manual test plans for AI agents, model performance, and retrieval accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in AI/ML architecture, enterprise integration, and scalable system design.
  • Hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, and financial services compliance requirements.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including containerized deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience using OpenAI, Cohere, or local embedding models.
  • Strong knowledge of NLP, semantic search, and multi-turn conversational AI.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices for ML pipelines and model deployment.
  • Strong backend development skills (Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., OpenSearch, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • Expertise in API development and enterprise system integrations.
  • Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with AWS Textract or other OCR services.
  • Understanding of financial data schemas, governance, and industry standards.
