Role: Kafka Administrator

Location: Piscataway, NJ ( Onsite)

Mode: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator to manage and support our Apache Kafka environment. You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Kafka clusters in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Apache Kafka and ZooKeeper.
• Monitor Kafka clusters using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery for Kafka.
• Manage Kafka topics, partitions, and performance tuning.
• Implement security with SSL/TLS, SASL, and Kerberos.
• Troubleshoot issues and support development teams with Kafka integrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka administration.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and ZooKeeper.
• Good understanding of networking, data flow, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
