Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite) Locals Only

JD:

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on and leadership experience in Linux and DevOps.

• Broad exposure to Windows, Network, DBA, Storage & Backup platforms.

• Practical experience or working knowledge of AWS cloud services.

• Experience managing large, distributed onshore/offshore teams.

• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management and delivery governance.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


Technical Leadership

• Lead and oversee Linux and DevOps platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Provide architectural and troubleshooting guidance for complex infrastructure issues.

• Review and guide automation, monitoring, and configuration management practices.

• Support cloud-related initiatives with hands-on or advisory exposure to AWS.


Service Delivery & Governance

• Own end-to-end delivery for assigned scope, including operations, escalations, and improvements.

• Ensure compliance with SLAs, and KPIs across onshore and offshore teams.

• Act as an escalation point for critical issues


• Provide oversight and coordination across multiple infrastructure towers, including:

o Windows Server

o Network

o Database (DBA)

o Storage & Backup

• Leverage deep organizational knowledge to align cross-platform dependencies and resolve systemic issues.


Data Center & Infrastructure Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Data Center hardware specifications, audits, and compliance requirements.

• Support DC-related audits, capacity planning, and infrastructure assessments.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware lifecycle and audit readiness.


Stakeholder & Team Management

• Serve as the primary onshore interface for customers and senior stakeholders.

• Coordinate closely with offshore teams, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and effective handovers.

• Mentor technical leads and engineers across towers.

• Support workforce planning, knowledge continuity, and succession planning."
