Job Description: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with extensive experience in data reporting, preparation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience with Cognos and Power BI, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) and data warehousing. The role demands expertise in JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript libraries for custom reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update Cognos and Power BI reports.
• Perform data preparation, manage data gateways, and contribute to data warehousing projects.
• Work with enterprise applications to deliver accurate and insightful data reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to understand and address reporting needs using BI tools and technologies.
• Utilize JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript libraries to enhance reporting features.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in BI reporting, specifically using Cognos and Power BI.
• Strong background in Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
• Expertise in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
