Job Title: Software Engineer (EX-Google)

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Contract role

 

Responsibilities:

•                  Design, develop, and implement software solutions within the Google development environment as part of the HR Engineering team.

•                  Write efficient and well-documented code primarily in Java and Angular TypeScript.

•                  Design and develop reusable components for various project requirements using Angular Typescript

•                  Develop and maintain integrations with various internal Google systems through API development and other integration patterns.

•                  Design and interact with the Spanner database to ensure scalable and reliable data storage and retrieval.

•                  Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation, reporting, and analysis.

•                  Independently manage assigned tasks, define timelines, and proactively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

•                  Collaborate effectively in person with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and other

•                  Team members within the HR Engineering organization in our San Jose office to understand requirements and contribute to the overall technical design.

•                  Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

•                  Ex google experience (must)

•                  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 

•                  Proven experience working within the Google development environment. 

•                  Strong proficiency in Java.

•                  Strong proficiency in Angular TypeScript.

•                  Solid understanding and experience with Google frameworks, including Angular, Boq, and Borg.

•                  Experience in integrations development and API development.

•                  Experience working with the Spanner database.

•                  Good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.

•                  Strong project management skills and the ability to work autonomously to manage and communicate progress on assigned work.

•                  Must be able to work onsite in our San Jose, California office.
