Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Exchange Online, and associated technologies, providing expert guidance and support to Off shore team.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online issues, and Intune and Share point online.
- Manage and optimize mail flow, transport rules, policies, and compliance settings within Exchange Online to ensure secure and efficient email delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Level 3 incidents related to mail delivery, performance, and client connectivity issues across various platforms (Outlook, OWA, mobile).
- Efficiently handle and resolve escalations related to Exchange Online, including mail flow problems, mailbox issues, and email restoration requests.
- Leverage prior experience with Office 365 migrations to contribute to and potentially lead future migration projects.
- Apply Level 3 knowledge of Exchange Server infrastructure and deployment methodologies to support hybrid environments and provide expert insights.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Office 365 Administration, including user and group management, service configuration, and best practices.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Azure AD, on-premises Active Directory, and various O365 services, ensuring seamless integration and security.
- Manage and optimize Office 365 licensing to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Manage Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise deployment and configuration through Office Cloud Policy Service (OCPS), Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Group Policies.
- Collaborate effectively with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Defender for Office 365, and Azure AD teams to ensure integrated security and compliance management.
- Possess a deep understanding of email security solutions such as Proofpoint/Mimecast and Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Understand and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive information within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Utilize knowledge of web technologies, including Graph API, to interact with Microsoft 365 services and automate tasks.
- Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks and generation of insightful reports (e.g., creating shared mailboxes, distribution lists).
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams administration and best practices.
- Exhibit very strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Manage the strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 services and execute projects to implement new features and improvements.
- Stay proactively updated on the Microsoft 365 roadmap changes, assess their potential impact on the business, and provide recommendations.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create documentation to empower other team members and end-users.
- Perform daily reviews of support tickets related to Microsoft 365 services to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.
- Extensive experience in administering and troubleshooting Exchange On-Premise, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure AD Connect.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 licensing models.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise using OCPS, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Group Policies.
- Deep understanding of email security principles and experience with Proofpoint/Mimecast and Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) concepts and implementation.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage projects and drive strategic initiatives.
- Experience in conducting knowledge transfer sessions and creating technical documentation.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework is a plus.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
PreferredQualifications:
- Experience with Office 365 and Large organization administration.
- Familiarity with IT automation tools beyond PowerShell.
